The JOBST® Anti-Embolism Elastic Stocking uses gradient compression that applies the greatest amount of pressure at the ankle and gradually lessens up the length of the leg. This gradient compression helps to move blood back up toward the heart for better circulation. These stockings are an accepted prophylaxis for minimizing the risk of thromboembolism in hospitalized patients requiring bed rest or prolonged periods of immobilization. Designed in a comfortable knee high style with soft, breathable fabric.
