"I would give these five stars if the top of the kneehigh did not contain "silicone yarn". The silicone band is problematic because after a short period of wear it begins to roll, creating a crease that gouges the skin, which is contrary to the function the compression kneehigh is supposed to have. If these were available without the silicone band, I would repurchase."

"I've been wear Jobst stockings for over 15 years. these opaque stockings are like trouser socks in that they are a little heavier than a traditional stocking, so I find that shoes can be a little more snug when wearing them. I prefer the heavier fabric myself, so I wear them when trying on new shoes. my only objection is that the toe seam runs around the end of the toes, which is fine with this particular pair. But it's not consistent, sometimes the seam is a bit lumpy and irritates my tender toes. Years ago Jobst had a seamless toe closure that was quite comfortable. I miss that feature"
