"When I wear these, my toes swell and the edge of the open toe rolls into my arch and makes a tight band. I cannot use these. Earlier, I tried the closed-toe version, but the foot was way too small. I struck out twice: expensive mistakes!"

The swelling in my mother's

"The swelling in my mother's left leg has been a struggle for some time including treatment from the wound clinic when it gets bad. She has used the knee highs for a while but still had problems with her upper leg. She purchased the thigh highs and it has been a world of difference! I have never seen that leg look so normal."

I like the feel of

"I like the feel of the fabric compared to other brands. The fit is good- I'm short 5'1" and chose a small regular size. The only problem is that they tend to creep down, but I've not found a brand that doesn't. When the nurse put them on me post sclerotherapy, she thought they were good in the fact that they came to the top of the thigh. Open toe give the advantage of being able to wear sandals in warm weather, which is a plus. I also have the closed toe and they work the same for feel and fit. My review is based on long-term experience with this brand and others."

The JOBST® Relief Thigh High

"The JOBST® Relief Thigh High compression stockings I have now are OK. But the customer service was disappointing, I provided my measurements by email to Jobst and they provided a link for ordering the correct size. The link I was given was for petite/regular, they did not fit properly. I then sent them back and once again was given a link for a size that was incorrect. Eventually I got the proper fitting size but lost the return shipping cost and the fee for restocking. In my case it would have been better to make my purchase directly from the doctors office."
